Pacesetter Sports will be providing Minnesota Basketball News for the 2019-2020 season. Minnesota Basketball News is an online newsmagazine, featuring highlights from the Minnesota high school basketball season, including the Minnesota State Tournament and coverage of Pacesetter events. It will include columns, photos, a feature story and other news from across the state.
Pacesetter Sports teams up with Minnesota Basketball News to provide the Top 100 Expo Showcase each summer in early July, featuring top-ranked players from Minnesota and the surrounding states. Teams of 7-10 players play three games in one day in an 8-team tournament while being observed by college coaches and the Minnesota Basketball News staff who rank the Top 50 players in each class for the next season.
Pacesetter Sports offers a Minnesota Youth Volleyball State Tournament in the fall for all teams in grades 7 & 8. The Pacesetter Youth Basketball state tournament has been run since 1993 with 700+ Minnesota teams playing annually in grades 4-9. Pacesetter has also conducted over 1,000 volleyball camps since 1986.
Redwood Falls will host the pre-state Pacesetter Fall Classics, open to all Minnesota girls' teams in grades 4-9 on Saturday, Oct. 24 and boys' teams in grades 4-9 on Saturday, October 31. (This will not be a qualifying tournament for State.) The Redwood Area Community Center is a first-class 4-court facility.
The Pacesetter “Great State” tournament will be held at the Target Center in Minneapolis, and will feature top teams from Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, and Iowa in an 8-team format. This exciting five-state playoff system is sponsored by the 3-time WNBA champion Minnesota Lynx and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Pacesetter Great Five-State Championships will be held in Minneapolis with teams playing 1-3 games on the main Target Center floor. The “Great State” tournament will feature the top teams from Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin in an 8-team format. Details. Wisconsin State Championships.
